KTM choose Cardo to help communicate on its ‘King of comebacks’ launch for new KTM 890 SMT
Following the announcement of the reintroduction of the KTM SMT back to the line-up, KTM held a global launch for journalists and influencers from 17 countries to try out the new KTM 890 SMT for themselves – and the KTM PACKTALK EDGE played a vital role, keeping riding guides in constant communication.
Held in Sardinia, Italy, over the course of a week, more than 60 members of the media jumped aboard to ride the pre-determined route with the opportunity to ‘race’ a Sardinian Mountain climb to exercise the machines ‘unbeatable tarmac performance and a large vivid spice of Supermoto legacy’. Those in charge of keeping the journalists riding together were in constant communication thanks to KTM PACKTALK EDGE devices,
Cardo ambassador and official KTM stunt rider Rok Bagoros and former AMA Superbike and Supermoto racer Chris Fillmore joined journalists to display the potential and the limits of the reimagined KTM 890 SMT.
