Cardo Systems’ DMC tech featured in new AGV Tourmodular helmet

Launched in July, the AGV Tourmodular helmet, is the first modular helmet designed to be compatible with an integrated communication system featuring Cardo’s proven Dynamic Mesh Communication (DMC) technology – the AGV INSYDE intercom.

Developed with Cardo Systems, the device allows up to 15 riders to interact seamlessly up to a total distance of 6km, provides a stable connection and optimal audio quality.

The new Tourmodular helmet has obtained ECE 22.06 homologation and has a unique structure made from carbon, aramid fiber and fiberglass for solidity and lightness. It features metal visor mechanisms and an Optical Class 1 visor to maximize both field of vision and protection area.

For rider comfort, Ritmo and Shalimar fabrics have been used on the helmet lining to absorb moisture and water-repellent synthetic leather edging keeps the water out in the event of heavy rain. There are four adjustable air vents and the aerodynamic shell design minimizes turbulence and helmet movement at speed. The Tourmodular is dual homlogated (P/J) so can be used legally as an open face and full face helmet.

The AGV Tourmodular helmet is already available in stores and on agv.com – nine different colorways, sizes XS to XXL, price from €549.95 for the Mono versions and €599.95 for the Multi version.

The AGV Insyde communication system is sold separately for €329.95.
