Cardo Systems appoints Antoine Seux as Country Manager France

Cardo Systems has announced the recruitment of Antoine Seux, as Country Manager France, responsible for managing the brand’s activity in France. Passionate about technology and mechanical sports, Antoine has experience with connected accessories with high technological added value. His objectives will be to work in synergy with the distributors of Cardo products in France and to strengthen the brand’s leadership in the intercom market for motorcyclists.

Hello Antoine, can you sum up your background in a few words?

Antoine Seux: “Of course. First of all, I am very happy to join the Cardo team and company, whose reputation and notoriety are impressive. I have spent a large part of my career developing the activity of foreign companies in France, particularly in Video Games (Activision, CapCom), consumer electronics (GoPro) or interactive entertainment (Tonies). During these experiences, I forged partnerships with partners well-known in motorcycling, such as Ducati and KTM in particular. Passionate about motorsports and new technologies, I am very happy to be able to combine my passion and this new professional challenge today.”

What is your vision of Cardo products?

A.S: “The Cardo brand is very strong in France thanks to permanent innovation, recognized reliability and a complete range which makes it possible to address a clientele ranging from the occasional user to the passionate motorcyclist via the “Urban Commuters”. The range has been completely renewed and today presents Intercoms that are easy to use but very efficient, whether in terms of ergonomics, sound (thanks to the partnership with JBL) but also the technology present on premium products, in particular Dynamic Mesh Communication (DMC).”

What are your priorities?

A.S: “Our priority is to strengthen our presence on the French market by relying on our partners in the distribution of motorcycle accessories and by strengthening our visibility with our users and potential customers, but also to develop education around the new DMC technology that dramatically transforms and simplifies communication between motorcyclists.”

Why this reinforcement on the French market?

A.S: “The motorcycle market in France is one of the biggest European markets. It is therefore a natural priority for Cardo. In mature technology markets, there is generally a move upmarket towards premium products. from a “Bluetooth” intercom market to a premium “DMC – Mesh” intercom market, there are several steps to take. Progress is not obvious, but then it often imposes itself as the new standard. As the DMC  offering is more complex to explain than a classic “Bluetooth” product, this requires support from resellers and customers.”

What are Cardo’s assets to achieve this?

A.S: “The Cardo development opportunities in France have never been so interesting. Most motorcyclists need to be connected, to their smartphone, to their GPS, to their passenger, to their group of friends on a motorcycle, and sometimes, even often, all of this at the same time. Our range is complete. It covers all market needs. Our intercom technology is reliable and accomplished, and we have a real competitive advantage over premium DMC/Mesh products including the performance, whether as a duo or in a larger group.”
