Cardo connectivity at European-wide launch of new Suzuki V-Strom

Organisers of the official European launch of the new Suzuki V-Strom 1050 and V-Strom 1050DE models chose Cardo Systems as the communications system of choice for outriders and event managers.

Taking place in Loutraki, Greece over four days of testing – with a different group of journalists per day – the route involved riders testing out the new models across 200km of tarmac and dirt, per day. Those in charge of keeping the journalists riding together were in constant communication thanks to the reliable mesh connectivity of the PACKTALK EDGE from Cardo Systems.

In the days preceding the press tests, the event team also utilised the PACKTALK EDGE units for press kit photography and video shooting, keeping the riders in direct contact with the videographers and photographers (using the headset options connected to PACKTALK BOLD) to ensure that perfect shot or sequence was captured. As a result,  the asset bank for both press use and for Suzuki themselves, was more dynamic and plentiful, ensuring great coverage for Suzuki across Europe.
